Meet Reagan Lodge: Former Marine, Fascist Illustrator, and Member of Neo-Nazi Iron March Forums

This article was made possible by contributions from several contributors.

The Background
Thanks to an anonymous online leak of data and materials from influential Neo-Nazi website Iron March where the white supremacist terror groups Attomwaffen Division, Vanguard America, and National Action (among many others) formed, we were gifted with a trove of identifying information about Iron March users. The released information includes a full copy of the Iron March content including usernames, users’ posts and links, along with sensitive details such as the email and IP addresses used to register usernames, plus private messages. All of that data, including the information shared in the private messages which include personal details are the framework which we use to identify users. You may view an online version of the leaked database, on a website built by Jewish Worker here.

Iron March user “gingertoast“, who was an enthusiastic poster on Iron March, has been identified as none other than Reagan Lodge, a former Marine, current illustrator, and fascist last known to be residing in Pala, California.

The reference Reagan made in this post [source] on Iron March refers to an incident where the U.S. Marine Scout Snipers were caught touting a flag with two SS lightning bolts.

It is quite ironic that here he is, having his own moment as he predicted.

The Trace
Reagan talked a lot on Iron March. For example, he tells us that he was in his late 20s in 2013, and that he was active duty[source].

He says that he was in Iraq in February of 2013 [source].

He says that he was with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) [source].

He affirms that he was with the 26th MEU and also mentions that he was involved with Canadian troops while deployed [source]. He discusses returning from deployment in Afghanistan in October of 2013[source].

He acknowledges that he goes by another alias “Sula” [source]. He mentions growing up in the Pacific Northwest, specifically Washington [source] and that he previously lived in Southern California[source]. He mentions that he intends to attend art school at the Virginia Commonwealth University [source]. He admits to drawing the avatar for another member of the forums, user “Pro Patria Mori” who has been identified as well[source]. Finally, he promoted the Wolves of Vinland, a Neo-Nazi pagan group from Virginia, to members on the forum[source]

His identity starts to unravel when he tries to get user “Alexander Slavros” (identified as Iron March administraot Alisher Mukhitdinov) to edit a Tumblr post for him. He admits to using the alias “Plowshares”[source]. Alisher agrees to take down the blog, and proceeds to ask for Reagan’s help with something. The original post can be found here.

In the long winded post on Tumblr, Reagan talks about American Futurism, which is described pretty succinctly as: “the idea that since an American ethnic identity does not exist, one must be created, ideally through all-consuming race war” [source]. His identity continues to unravel on Tumblr. His Tumblr account under “reaganlodge” reblogs content from a user “stalhjelm” which mentions returning from a deployment in Afghanistan in 2013, which is the same deployment return date as gingertoast [source].

Remember that gingertoast’s e-mail includes the  stalhjelm username [source]. This links Reagan Lodge’s personal Tumblr account (that includes his real name) directly to his “stalhjelm” alt account.

An archived search of stalhjelm.tumblr.com on archive.org returns a redirect to stalhjelm.com, suggesting that whoever operated the Tumblr account also owned the domain[source]. An archive of the website confirms that stalhjelm and Reagan Lodge are the same person[source]. Look at the footer:

The Confirmation
Reagan Lodge attended VCU in 2017 [source].

His alias “Sula” which is mentioned in a direct message to  Iron March user “Kacen” [source] is short for Sulacoyote, Reagan Lodge’s username on a Furry forum[source]. He was called out on 4chan for his Nazi art[source]. Reagan also appears on metafur[source]. Other users on a Reddit forum call him by his first name and the Sulacoyote username as well[source, archive]. Finally, we have found an old archived album of all of Reagan’s fascist art[source].

The Fascist Postings
Here he peddles antisemitic conspiracy theories[source].
Here he talks about his hopes for creating art for the proliferation and growth of fascism [source].
Here he idolizes mass murderer Anders Breivik and his manifesto[source]. This isn’t the first time. In another passage, he hopes that Breivik becomes a motivational speaker when he is released from prison[source] and even calls him commander at some point[source].

Praising a mass murderer and Neo-Nazi publicly on forums is not a great look. We believe that Reagan is still involved in making fascist art because as recently as the end of 2018 he was making Sam Hyde cartoons in his free time and posting them on Twitter [source]. Sam Hyde pledged money to defend Andrew Anglin, the Neo-Nazi who founded the Daily Stormer.

Current Whereabouts
Reagan is still an illustrator and is on Twitter @ReaganLodge. We asked for comment from Reagan on Twitter and have received no reply.

He is working on a graphic novel and streams on Twitch. We additionally asked him for comment on his Twitch stream and he quickly made his stream  subscriber-only in an attempt to ward off criticism.

He has a listed Patreon. We wonder how Patreon would feel about hosting a fascist on their platform.

If you have any information about the fascist in this article, other fascists on Iron March or other fascists in general, including additional tips, please send them to panicinthediscord @ riseup (dot) net or DM them to @discord__panic on Twitter.
